HIGHER THAN LEMURS

The first Polish climbing expedition to Madagascar. A huge mixture of luck, feat, exoticism and…. bad luck! Marcin broke his leg while still in Poland just before the trip itself. Michal first twisted his ankle and then nearly lost his hand in a paragliding accident! Despite the obstacles, the Krakow-Warsaw team led two new routes on virgin walls in the Tsaranoro Valley in less than a month: “Dad, Dad,” 1000m 6a, and ‘Cucumber’s Flying Circus,’ 600m 7b+. All ended well for the limbs, too – the bones knit together without a trace!
