Discovery invariably brings great joy. Searching for the new, the unknown. Pushing the boundaries of cognition. Exploration. The physical one – discovering new lands, new places; the scientific one – arriving at new ideas, new phenomena. New people. New paths. With this project we are exploring the world of photography. We are looking for new functions and TERRITORIES for our photos. We move away from the rush that accompanies press photography. We sink into a world refracted in a drop of water, reflected in a sheet of ice, rippled on the surface of the sea. Illuminated by the sun’s rays scattered in fog and sandstorms. Our photographs are united by an infinite attention to detail, to light, to the moment. They advance photography to the status of painting – from impressionism to the art of calligraphy.
